It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Professor Dr Marhani Midin—a cherished teacher, mentor and friend, and a truly remarkable human being. She will always be remembered for her gentle smile, soft-spoken manner and kindness towards everyone around her.

Professor Dr Marhani returned to the mercy of Allah at 9.31 pm on 9 August 2026.

Her passing is an immense loss to her family, friends, students and the entire psychiatric community. The knowledge she so generously shared, the guidance she offered and the kindness she showed will remain forever in our hearts.

May Allah SWT forgive her, accept all her good deeds, illuminate and make spacious her grave, and grant her a place among the righteous in Jannah. May Allah grant her family strength, patience and comfort during this difficult time.
