Helping individuals feeling worthless and hopeless: Enhancing Skills and Self-Care.
Self-harm and suicidality are rising clinical challenges. Clients often present with feelings of hopelessness and despair, or families reach out fearful for their loved ones’ safety. These individuals frequently present in outpatient settings, be it hospitals, universities, private clinics, or community centres, where clinicians are often called to respond amidst the demands of a busy schedule.
The need for timely, compassionate, and effective intervention is critical, despite constraints on time and resources. This interactive workshop equips mental health professionals with practical skills, systemic insights, and strategies for self-care so that you can manage high-risk presentations with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
